Biography:
Doris joined Building Diagnostics in June 2000 after graduating from the University of Texas at Austin with a Master’s Degree in Construction Engineering and Project Management. She specializes in the analysis and repair of existing facilities. In the course of her work, Doris has completed condition assessments and remedial design services for various types of exterior cladding systems, including precast concrete, masonry, and stucco. She also participates in research conducted at the Durability Lab, a testing center established by Building Diagnostics to study the durability of building components and identify factors causing premature failure. Outside of work, Doris enjoys the Austin lifestyle: Trail-running, live music, and of course good food with friends. She also loves to travel, including getting back to Germany to visit family, whenever possible. Speaking of both her work at Building Diagnostics and her life in Austin, she says, “I know I’m in the right place.”
