Brett has been with Building Diagnostics since 1999. He has worked for BDI in Houston, Denver, and Austin. Brett spends his free time supporting his two boys in sports and scouts, playing indoor soccer, and trying to otherwise stay active in order to go skiing for a few days each winter.
Hobbies/Volunteering: Volunteer with the Boy Scouts of America. I enjoy traveling for hiking and skiing.

Biography:
Doris joined Building Diagnostics in June 2000 after graduating from the University of Texas at Austin with a Master’s Degree in Construction Engineering and Project Management. She specializes in the analysis and repair of existing facilities. In the course of her work, Doris has completed condition assessments and remedial design services for various types of exterior cladding systems, including precast concrete, masonry, and stucco. She also participates in research conducted at the Durability Lab, a testing center established by Building Diagnostics at The University of Texas at Austin to study the durability of building components and identify factors causing premature failure. Outside of work, Doris enjoys the Austin lifestyle: Trail-running, live music, and of course good food with friends. She also loves to travel, including getting back to Germany to visit family, whenever possible. Speaking of both her work at Building Diagnostics and her life in Austin, she says, “I know I’m in the right place.”

Biography:
Vincent joined BDI in October 2020 after graduating from UT Austin with a Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering. While pursuing his Master’s, he had the privilege of interning with BDI as well as taking up the role of Graduate Research Assistant at The Durability Lab. His professional interests and specializations are fueled by his passions for structures, the behavior of engineering materials, and sustainability. He is a member of ASTM, SEAoT, and USGBC Texas. During his downtime, Vincent enjoys live music, playing guitar, traveling, backpacking across a variety of terrains, and teaching his 1-year-old Australian Shepherd fun new tricks.
